This unique collaboration ensures that by the end of the camp, every participant is prepared to face the ultimate challenge: joining the legendary Granfondo race and climbing to the highest point in mainland Portugal — Torre Mountain.

Between Rides and the Mountains, a Home to Recharge
We’ll be living in a beautiful, recently renovated stone house with a pool and mountain views, just minutes from the heart of Seia in the Serra da Estrela region.
Each room has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a bidet and hairdryer, and all the essentials like fresh linens, towels, and toiletries. There’s a cozy garden, a terrace for relaxing, and even a barbecue area — everything you need to rest, recharge, and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings between rides.

Main Challenge Granfondo Serra da Estrela
Mount Torre, at 1,993 meters, is mainland Portugal's highest peak and the country's second-tallest overall.
Choose to conquer either 102 km with 2800 m of elevation gain or 154 km with 4200 m of elevation gain, reaching the summit of Mount Torre while traversing breathtaking scenic routes!

Join our Serra da Estrela cycling tour, where you'll not only enjoy breathtaking landscapes but also savor the rich, hearty cuisine of the Seia region. Indulge in the renowned Queijo da Serra, a creamy sheep's cheese, and a variety of homemade meats and stews, perfect for refueling.

By day 6 of the camp, you'll confidently ascend 2800 or 4200 meters over all distances to Mount Torre's summit – you're assured to succeed!

Our camp offers a unique opportunity for intermediate cyclists to push their limits and experience the thrill of participating in the Granfondo Serra da Estrela, ascending to 1,993 meters. The journey is filled with picturesque routes, each with its own set of challenges and rewards. You'll ride through charming villages, alongside serene rivers, and over rolling hills, all while soaking in Portugal's breathtaking natural beauty.

Transfer from Lisbon
A group transfer from Lisbon to Seia and back is included in your camp package — no extra planning needed.
We’ll pick you up at a designated meeting point in Lisbon on the first day of the camp and bring you back after it ends.
Just send us your flight details after registration, and we’ll coordinate everything for a smooth arrival.

Common Questions About the Camp
Find answers to the most common questions about the camp, from logistics to what’s included, to help you plan your perfect cycling adventure.
The camp is designed for those who already ride road bikes. However, we can adapt the group and routes to suit different levels depending on the participants.
A well-maintained road bike, cycling shoes with clip-in pedals, a helmet, sunglasses, 2-3 sets of cycling apparel, a wind vest, a rain vest, spare tubes for punctures, and two water bottles.. If you need a bike or other equipment for rent, please contact us at hello@portcycling.pt for arrangements.
Starting February, 1, 2026, cancellations will only be refunded at 50% of the camp cost.
We plan for 12–14 participants. There will be enough guides and support for everyone, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
The camp includes only breakfast ingredients, which we’ll prepare together as a group. Lunches and dinners are not included in the price, and each participant covers their own meals.
